BEM Melo stands for Body · Earth · Mind · Melo — a reminder that what we wear should feel good on our bodies, respect the planet we live on, and support our well-being.

Founded from a home studio in San Jose, California, BEM Melo began with a slow, thoughtful approach to clothing. Our goal is to create everyday pieces that are gentle on your body and mindful of the earth. We believe sustainability is a journey, not perfection, and this is where we are today.

We consciously choose bamboo lyocell blends that are incredibly soft, breathable, moisture-wicking, and odor-resistant. Our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning they are free from harmful chemicals, pesticides, and azo dyes — because your skin deserves to be treated with care and love.

Our pieces are designed to move with you — from slow mornings and lounging, to work, yoga, and everyday moments in between. Versatile, comfortable, and easy to wear, they’re made to support you wherever the day takes you.

We believe mindful clothing should be accessible. By keeping our designs simple and producing responsibly, we focus on high quality at a fair price. What you see is intentional — simplicity allows us to pass cost savings directly to you.

To reduce waste, our garments are made in small batches in Vietnam, working with local makers to avoid overproduction. We believe in loving your clothes, wearing them well, and when they’ve reached the end of their journey, letting them return to the earth.
